SAE bring legendary engineer and producer Gareth Jones to LIMS

saeFrom introducing sampling to Depeche Mode to working with Goldfrapp, Nick Cave, Moby, Embrace and Erasure, Gareth Jones has made a huge impact in the world of popular music.

Over the last three decades he has worked with a vast number of artists and been involved with several seminal works including John Foxx’s Metamatic and Depeche Mode’s Construction Time Again and he even recorded Madness’ first ever single, The Prince!

Now anyone attending LIMS will have a chance to see this master producer in action as he gives a talk for SAE on Friday 12th June at 4:15pm in the Seminar Room of the Unplugged Hall. Gareth will be discussing the art of EQ-ing, just one of a list of seminars given by various luminaries on behalf of SAE. The fill list is as follows:

Friday 12th June
12:45pm – Ed Camou – Home Studio Recording
4:15pm – Gareth Jones – Using Equalizers

Saturday 13th June
11am – Roey Izhaki – Mixing
4pm – Gareth Green – SAE presents ITB and OTB mixing and production: The truth and the fallacy .

Sunday 14th June
11am – Gareth Green – SAE presents – From the bedroom to the charts: A modern take on production techniques
4pm – Gareth Green – SAE presents ITB and OTB mixing and production: The truth and the fallacy .
