New Mariners set to land at LIMS
New range and new models from UK acoustic newcomer
With just a few days to go before this year’s LIMS opens its doors, premium acoustic guitar newcomer Mariner has confirmed that it will be unveiling several brand new models at the show.
In addition to the current Korean luthier-built Archive series, Mariner will debut an updated Masthead range from its new associate Sino-Korean manufacturing facility. These established solid wood acoustics are augmented with new drop shoulder and super jumbo styles. Mariner founder Ken Achard commented on the further development of the brand, saying: “We are very excited about our new production partnership. Apart from giving us a massive competitive boost, it will secure our high expectations for quality and enable us to satisfy wider demand.”
Mariner is also set to introduce a new model in its top of the range Eso series. The E-6AR is an Auditorium style guitar with book-matched solid rosewood body and AAA grade Sitka spruce top. Lavishly bound and purfled with maple and abalone, it signals on going product developments throughout the brand, Mariner says.
Designed in the UK, Mariner guitars are distributed in the UK by the Music Force Distribution and will be exhibited on their stand, G1, at the show.
